Join the Fray!
The Fray is an
association
of equals, highly disciplined and aggressively pursuing the perfection
of the art of war and revelry.
The Fray is not a political body and holds no permanent affiliation
with any political body other than the kingdom in which it resides,
though the Fray may fight to achieve political ends at the direction of
the Commander.
Associate membership in the Fray
requires that the
candidate fight at a war with the Fray. Candidates for membership
are then sponsored into the Fray by two members of the Fray: a sponsor
and a second.
Associate members take no oath, and
are not bound to
fight with the Fray, but are accepted as brothers-in-arms.
Fighting at a war a second time with
the Fray with
the continued support of the sponsor and second makes the associate
member eligible for full membership in the Fray, bound by oath to the
Fray.
The Fray has no seniority or
hierarchcal structure
other than the formal command structure---no member may claim
perquisites, privileges, or authority based on tenure or societal
status.
